Kia has officially introduced the highly anticipated EV9 in Pakistan, marking another milestone in the country’s electric vehicle (EV) market. Following the success of the Kia EV5, the EV9 arrives as a premium all-electric SUV that blends style, luxury, and performance. With its bold exterior, high-end interior, and impressive range, the EV9 is set to redefine the EV landscape in Pakistan.

Sleek and Stylish Exterior
The Kia EV9 boasts a futuristic design featuring LED front lamps, DRLs, and rear combination lamps for enhanced visibility. Safety features of the SUV include fog lamps together with a roof rack that offers extra storage options and a smart power tailgate system which provides customizable opening height capabilities. The 21-inch black and gray two-tone alloy wheels add to its aggressive stance, while digital mirrors improve both aerodynamics and visibility. The SUV’s sleek design features these automatic door handles that blend perfectly with the vehicle’s external appearance.

Under the hood, the EV9 is powered by dual electric motors, generating 282.6 kW of power (141.3 kW front + rear) and 700 Nm of torque. The SUV accelerates to a velocity of 100 km/h in a duration of 5.3 seconds and attains a maximum speed of 200 km/h.
Equipped with a 99.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, the vehicle is capable of achieving a range of up to 505 kilometres in accordance with WLTP standards, rendering it well-suited for long-distance travel. The braking system allows the SUV to decelerate from a speed of 100 km/h to a complete stop within a distance of merely 33.4 meters, thereby significantly enhancing overall safety.
The EV9 provides efficient charging solutions that enable users to replenish the battery from 10% to 80% within a mere 24 minutes utilising high-power (350 kW) DC charging. In contrast, conventional AC charging necessitates a duration of 9 hours and 45 minutes at 220V/48A. The EV9 has integrated charging capabilities for 400V and 800V which are complemented by its V2L feature enabling it to supply power to external devices.
