U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday ordered the creation of a task force to investigate the “weaponization” of the Department of Justice, including any federal cooperation in connection with New York state legal actions against President Donald Trump.
The memo, which is titled “Restoring the Integrity and Credibility of the Department of Justice,” specifically calls out Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James, as well as former Special Counsel Jack Smith.
