You can now download iOS 18.4 beta 1 both in OTA update form, as well as IPSW links for your iPhone.
The release comes a few weeks after Apple released final version of iOS 18.3 to public which brought with it minor changes to Apple Intelligence notification summaries, as well as the usual bug fixes and security improvements.
While we aren’t sure as yet as to what does iOS 18.4 contains, it’s likely that Apple will be rolling out next-wave of Apple Intelligence features as part of this release. Previously, Apple rolled out first-wave and second-wave of Apple Intelligence features as part of iOS 18.1 and iOS 18.2 respectively, while iOS 18.3 put a hold on it for fine tuning of those features.
To download iOS 18.4 beta 1, either go to Settings > General > Software Update on your device to grab OTA update, or visit developer.apple.com and download the IPSW file for your specific device.
Keep in mind that you’ll need to be a registered developer of the Apple Developer Program portal to download and test iOS 18.4 beta 1. Apple hasn’t released this version of iOS 18.x to members of the Apple Public Beta Software Program yet.
