About the Organisation
Ameya, The Empowerment Initiative is a platform dedicated to advancing women’s legal rights and ensuring access to justice. Our mission is to empower women through in-depth research and innovative projects that outline actionable strategies for systemic change.
Eligibility
- Academic Background: Enrolled in a law program or a related field (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year law students preferred).
- Passion for Justice: A deep, demonstrable commitment to women’s rights and social justice.
- Research Prowess: Prior research experience in legal or social justice contexts is highly valued.
- Skill Set: Strong written and analytical abilities.
- Commitment: A minimum engagement of 3 months to make a meaningful impact.
Main Responsibilities
- In-Depth Research: Conduct comprehensive research on critical issues impacting women’s rights and legal justice.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to support actionable policy recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members in brainstorming sessions and project development meetings.

This fully remote internship offers you the flexibility to work from anywhere.
Work Timings
6-8 hours per week. Flexible arrangements can be discussed based on academic commitments.

- Passionate 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year law students eager to dive into legal research and champion women’s rights.
- Individuals with a strong academic record and a genuine drive for social justice and legal empowerment.
- Individuals ready to commit to a long-term internship. We believe that significant contributions require sustained effort—thus, we only accept interns willing to associate with the cause for a minimum of 3 months for an enriching experience.
Duration of Internship
3 months, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and project requirements.
