Punjab College of Law (PCL) is a self-financed unaided institute set up by Gyan Jyoti Educational and Social Welfare Society (Regd.). Punjab College of Law is affiliated with Punjabi University Patiala and recognized by BCI. It offers B.A.LL.B, and LL.B Courses.

About the Seminar

Aim of the present seminar is to explore the transformative power of education and its role in empowering women. The seminar will delve into the significance of women’s contributions to leadership, innovation, and societal change, emphasizing the importance of equality and inclusion.

By revisiting the legacy of Savitribai Phule, the first female teacher in India, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s emphasis on education for all, the event will underscore the fundamental role of education in women’s empowerment. It will highlight how education has been a catalyst for breaking traditional barriers and fostering gender equality.

The seminar will also explore the impact of technology adoption on women’s empowerment, showcasing how technological advancements are revolutionizing women’s participation in various sectors, from entrepreneurship to social activism.

It will discuss women’s challenges and opportunities in the digital age and how technology can bridge the gender gap. The seminar aims to inspire and motivate participants to strive for a more inclusive and equitable society by examining the multifaceted aspects of women’s empowerment. Submission of Papers

Full papers with abstracts (not more than 2500-3000 words) are invited from practitioners, academicians, research scholars, teachers, and students on the above sub-themes latest by 15th February 2025. The abstract and papers may please be sent to pclseminar2025@gmail.com. Selected papers will be published in the proceedings of the seminar.

The abstract should not be more than 300 words, and papers should be typed in MS Word format (A4 size, Font: Times New Roman, Font Size-12, for headings 14, line spacing 1.5) with references in APA style.

The paper and abstract should contain the title of the paper, name of the author and co-author, department and affiliation, Email ID with contact number. Submitted papers will be published in an ISBN book and should avoid plagiarism with an AI acceptance of only 20%.
