Finance-Focused Intelligence Firm Hires FactSet Veteran as GC

A 13-year-old company that provides data and market intelligence to players in the corporate restructuring industry has a new general counsel as it continues rapid growth.

New York City-based Octus, which was called Reorg before a rebranding last fall, has hired Megan Jones as general counsel and a member of its executive leadership team. She joins from financial data provider FactSet, where she was deputy general counsel and served for eight months as interim chief legal officer.
