A Manhattan federal judge on Tuesday ordered New York City Mayor Eric Adams, his defense team and federal prosecutors into court on Wednesday to clarify the Justice Department’s bid to dismiss the public corruption case.
U.S. District Judge Dale Ho of the Southern District of New York said the parties should be prepared to address the “reasons” behind the DOJ nolle prosequi, the “scope and effect” of Adams’ consent to dismissal, and the procedure of resolving the motion.
