Civil rights groups and Am Law 100 firm Covington & Burling have filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of President Donald Trump’s anti-DEI and anti-LGBTQ+ executive orders.
The NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Lambda Legal and Covington allege Trump’s orders threaten Black, Latino and transgender communities in violation of their rights to free speech and equal protection.
