Washington police ask businesses to check surveillance tapes to catch ATM thieves


Police in Puyallup, Washington are asking residents and businesses to check their surveillance cameras to try to catch three individuals who used a stolen excavator to steal an ATM, according to a report by KIRO 7.

The group used the excavator to pull the BECU ATM out and place it onto the back of a black Ford F-350. All of the individuals were wearing dark clothing and ski masks.

The excavator itself had been stolen from a construction site. The investigation is ongoing.
