The Centre for Human Rights and Duties has been designed to familiarize and sensitize more and more people in society towards issues relating to Human Rights and Duties and involve them in the Human Rights movement and not merely to impart formal instruction, conduct examination and award certificates to the candidates. About the Opportunity

Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University in association with Indian Council of Social Science Research is going to Organise National Seminar on “Women’s Mental Health in North-Western region of India: Trauma and Healing” on 11th March’2025

Objective of

  • Ensuring that mental health care is available to all women and accessible to all, especially to those who are most vulnerable and underprivileged.
  • Encouraging community participation in the development of mental health services for women, and stimulating efforts towards self-help.
  • Training managers and workers to protect and support the mental health of women around them.
  • Ensuring adequate funding and resource allocation to strengthen mental health services for women autonomy, and participation, are considered in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of mental health policies
  • Enhancing positive mental health and well-being throughout the lifespan and in a range of settings, including the home, school, workplace, and community

Submission Guidelines

  • The abstract should not exceed 300 words
  • Only selected abstracts will be permitted for presentation.
  • The paper must be in English language.
  • Co-authorship is restricted to a maximum of two authors.

Abstract must be accompanied by a cover page stating:

  • Name of the Institution
