Dividend income report – May 2023

I received around $1500 dividend in May.

I usually receive lower dividend income in February, May, August and November. And I receive much higher income (almost double) for the rest of the eight months.

I just realized that a few of my holdings, Pembina Pipeline (TSE:PPL), Keyera Corp (TSE:KEY), Topaz Energy (TSE: TPZ), moved from monthly dividend to quarterly payments. Thus, I expect to receive slightly lower dividend income for this quarter.

I continue buying income-generating assets, aka dividend stocks. Therefore, I expect to receive much high income in June and July.

Let’s discuss how much dividend I received in May 2023.

I received $1486.42 dividends in May, which is 23.16% higher than last year’s same period. The improvement due to the new purchases and dividend growth over the previous year.
