5th THEMIS Moot Court Competition by CHRIST Pune

The Moot Court Society of the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus is thrilled to invite participants for THEMIS 2025, the Fifth edition of its flagship Moot Court Competition, being organised from March 21, 2025 to March 23, 2025 in physical mode, at the University premises.

The fifth edition of THEMIS, scheduled to take place from 21st March to 23rd March, 2025, is a memorial qualifying competition which seeks to build upon the strong foundation established by the enthusiastic participation in the previous edition. This time, it aims to enhance the participants’ experience by providing an opportunity to showcase their mooting skills before esteemed judges.

Eligibility Criteria

• Participation is strictly restricted to bona fide law students pursuing the three years or five years LL.B. degree course in any recognised institution in India;
• Students pursuing their LL.M. and Diploma courses are not eligible for participation;
• Only one team shall be allowed to represent each participating institution;
• Each participating team should have a maximum of  three participating members. In a  team, two members shall be designated as ‘Speakers’ and the third member shall be designated as ‘Researcher’.

Registration Process

The registration process for the THEMIS Moot Court Competition is as follows:

• Registration:  The teams are required to register for the memorial qualifying round by filling the google form. Link for the Registration is mentioned at the end of this post.
• Confirmation of Registration of the teams will be duly communicated. 
• The registration fees for the THEMIS Moot Court Competition 2025 is INR 6,000/- (without accommodation) and INR 9,000/- (with accommodation). The registration fee is to be paid after the results of the Memorial Qualifying round.  Final Registration shall require a Letter of Authorization signed by the Head of the Institution/Head of the Moot Court Committee/Society/Association.
• The duly filled Travel Form is to be submitted by the teams on or before 14th March, 2025 using the link mentioned at the end of this post.

• Winners: Rs. 1,00,000/-
• Runner-Up: Rs. 70,000/-
• Best Researcher: Rs. 25,000/-
• Best Speaker: Rs. 25,000/-
• Best Memorial: Rs. 25,000/-
