Two men were arrested in St. George, Utah for allegedly attempting to steal an ATM at a Goldenwest Credit Union. Police found an ATM opened in the credit union, although no cash had been taken, according to a report by KSL TV.
Police were able to identify the suspects via the credit union’s surveillance footage. They took the two men, Reimer Linares Rodriquez and Darren Daza Segura into custody.
A police statement claims that Segura and Rodriquez said someone had hired them to steal cash from the ATM and were given a modified key to open up the ATM, steal the hard drive and download data from it.
