About the Organisers

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The headquarters and main campus of MANUU is located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana State, over an area of 200 acres.

The University is named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the freedom fighter and outstanding scholar who, as the first Education Minister of Independent India, envisioned and laid the foundation of technical, scientific and higher education in India.

University last year Started MANUU Law School, which aims to explore and identify novel areas of law and policy through relentless engagement in developing legal theory and practice, academic potential, critical analytical ability and advocacy skills to fully equip the students with a learning which is intellectually stimulating, socially vital and professionally enriching.

It has adopted a multidisciplinary approach towards legal education and develops a positive attitude in students to make them realize that lawyers are an integral part of the system of adjudication, determination of policies and setting up of standards for regulation of various activities through relevant institutions. MANUU Law School currently offers 5 Years B.A. LL.B (Hons)**, 3- Years LL.B**, 2 Years M.A. (Legal Studies), One Year LL.M (with 6 specializations) and Ph.D. (Law) programmes.

1st MANUU Law School Moot Court Competition 2025. MANUU Law School Proudly announces its 1st MANUU Law School Moot Court Competition 2025 schedule

• Preliminary & Quater Rounds: 8 & 9 March 2025 (Online Mode)
• Semi Final & Finals Rounds: 18 March 2025 (Offline Mode)

The Competition involves Constitutional Law with a focus on the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, providing participants with an opportunity to explore complex legal scenarios and enhance their advocacy skills in a competitive and intellectually stimulating environment.

Eligibility

The Competition shall be open to students who are duly enrolled and are pursuing an integrated 5-year or 3-year Law Program in India from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.
